This amazing, living willow theatre, Glôb Byw, is a scaled down version of the famous Globe Theatre in London and is home to the Mid Wales Shakespeare Centre in the Penlanole grounds.

The willow, harvested from several local sites, was planted and woven to willow consultant Dr Rebecca Heaton's design by an enthusiastic team of volunteers.

This ambitious, unique venue can house an audience of 150 people, and plays leafy host to Shakespeare-related and other courses, workshops, music and performance throughout the summer months.
